EMERGENCY POST: Inquiry-class Battlecruiser Reward Box Bound to Character UPDATE 2: Binding To Be Fixed

Today, we have what we presume to be a bug in the ship reward for the Inquiry-class Battlecruiser reward box.

While I’m unsure of who took the picture, it was easier to embed Timberwolf’s tweet.

Seeing as no one is aware of an intended change to Promotional T6 Ship reward boxes, we’re sure this is a bug and will get fixed.

When it gets fixed is the issue.

• Best case: Tomorrow (9/9/2020)
• Middle case: Thursday (9/10/2020)
• Worst case: a week from Thursday (9/17/2020)

If it doesn’t get fixed…whooooo, boy….I imagine the player outcry to be worse than it’s been in the past week.

UPDATE: As of late yesterday, any new copies of the Inquiry-class Battlecruiser drop as unbound reward boxes.

HOWEVER…if you have one in your Inventory from earlier in the day, you need to contact Customer Service to get it unbound.

Timeline Change Imminent! At 2:30 pm PT today, the PC Servers will briefly bounce into another timeline and back – this will fix the issue of the Inquiry boxes being bound to character. If you already have one of the boxes, you can contact customer support to get it unbound.

UPDATE 2: The patch notes for 9/10/2020 state the patch will unbind any Inquiry-class ship reward boxes that are still bound.
